More from Moana - Lake Brunner. A couple of weeks ago B and I also completed this 30 minute nature walk. This is a DOC walk so it is a area where Kiwi most likely live, we were dismayed to see a family with a dog walking the track.
Lots of dried skeleton leaves - typical for this time of year.
In most New Zealand nature walks it's common to see little mini waterfalls along the way.
And here's what we came to see - Carew Waterfall. Again I didn't have my camera with me so the photos and videos here are taken with my cellphone.

What a wonderful place to explore.
Great photos. I do enjoy places like this :-D
Mini falls are plentiful in NZ. Love the walks
I looks like a lovely place for a day's adventure and maybe even a picnic :)
Beautiful nature in its raw form captured beautifully!
That seems like a nice walk to me. We don't have real waterfalls in the Netherlands, it's a bit too flat here for that.
That looks very inviting for a nice walk.
Absolutely delightful! I'd love to go walking there!
Beautiful NZ bushwalk. Pity about the dog. Some people just can't understand
