I haven't visited this town in a few years but it's still a favourite place. Warkworth is about maybe an hour north of Auckland. The water i nthe scene is the Mahurangi River and flows out through the harbour to the Hauraki Gulf.

It is years since I actually stopped in Warkworth, and I don't think I have ever been down to the river. Your photo makes me want to visit there again :)
Perhaps the only part of the country I only visited once and briefly. There is so much yet to see and appreciate. Must come home.
Boats on the river, always a wonderful picture
Funny those pointed caps on those chimneys of the small boats. So each country has its own adaptations to some things anyway. Also a pleasant photo to just look at.
Boats and boat docks. Love them!
Looks great - and peaceful (other than that boat I was on last week and bruised my head in the storm).
Looks very summery!
The boats look lovely, a very nice photo.
I need to get back to the shore. I find water so healing.
Thanks for sharing this lovely shot at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/10/budding-artist.html
The boats are waiting to be unleashed!
Nice pic of the boats. It's always interesting to see different types of boats.

Such a beautiful pic. So very peaceful.
What a great view of the boats there and it looks like a perfect day to be out and about.
I loved Warkworth. Stopped there a good few times over the years.
