Boats

I haven't visited this town in a few years but it's still a favourite place. Warkworth is about maybe an hour north of Auckland. The water i nthe scene is the Mahurangi River and flows out through the harbour to the Hauraki Gulf.

Linking up with Through my lensTuesday TreasuresMy corner of the world and Wordless Wednesday.

It is years since I actually stopped in Warkworth, and I don't think I have ever been down to the river. Your photo makes me want to visit there again :)

Perhaps the only part of the country I only visited once and briefly. There is so much yet to see and appreciate. Must come home.

Boats on the river, always a wonderful picture

Funny those pointed caps on those chimneys of the small boats. So each country has its own adaptations to some things anyway. Also a pleasant photo to just look at.

Boats and boat docks. Love them!

Looks great - and peaceful (other than that boat I was on last week and bruised my head in the storm).

I need to get back to the shore. I find water so healing.

Nice pic of the boats. It's always interesting to see different types of boats.
