I think most of us can relate to the McDonald's sign on the right of this photo, they are just about everywhere. A photo snapped while sitting in the passenger seat of B's work truck as we were driving through town. I was pleased to read though that McDonalds has withdrawn from Russia - now that's something positive.

I haven't had any in years.
Have never had one, but it's a long story about pigheadedness. Glad you found the comments. We worried you might think we were ignoring you and we really look forward to your slices of home. Surprised you don't hear moreporks on the Coast. I recall they were plentiful up Motueka way and expected them in all the native bush areas on the Coast. Is a conservation program called for?
I just started watching the movie based on Ray Kroc, the founder of Maccas.
I´ve read the book, too, and sadly gave it away, interesting story!
I'm guessing everyone throughout the developed world now recognizes the Golden Arches. Not sure that's necessarily a good thing. I too was pleased to hear they are no longer going to do business in Russia. In an interesting twist, perhaps Russians will start living longer because their fast food consumption will decline!
The street I live has a McDonalds, it´s drive-in is 24/7. Only couple of times in a year I eat there. It´s ok food but not the healtiest choice. Good to see it´s withdrawing from Russia. 💙💛
...the Golden Arches isn't a favorite place for me.
We have the Golden Arches in our town here in the province, I always thought of taking a photo of it just that way.. hmm, I think I did - with the moringa pod trees in the background for my advert 2 years ago :) It is still my favorite place to go when my grand daughter wants burger and fries. Glad to know McDonald's is withdrawing from Russia and taking a stand.
Circle drives below are becoming more popular.
