A rocky beacon
This is one of the beacon's that we see when we are out on the water sometimes in the Te Puna Inlet Harbour. It lights up at night and sits there on it's rock surrounded by waves in the day. On this particular morning it was very stormy and about to pour down with rain. We had to hide under the canopy in our boat.
Linking up with Skywatch Friday.

Hello, the water does look rough. I am sure the beacon light at night is welcomed. Enjoy your day, have a great weekend ahead.
Wonderful sky drama. I think I see a couple small drops on your lens!!
It looks like stomach churning weather.
Very moody!
The water does look rough and the skies stormy.
These beacon lights are important.
All the best Jan
Stunning view
Moody shot, I like it.
Worth a Thousand Words
How lovely!

Looks like it might be rough waters ahead! (I know nothing of boating/sailing or anything...so if that sounds stupid, that is why.)
Very dramatic sky. Looks like it's a day to stay on land.
You're lucky you don't get seasick Amy, I would have been a hanging over the side of the boat 😊 Super shot.
Ooh, we love boating, but I wouldn’t want to be out in that. (I’m a terrible scaredy cat about weather though).
