Owharoa Waterfalls - Waikato
Today...another tiki tour, this time in the opposite direction to Owharoa Waterfalls - about an hour from home. Just off the main highway and before the Karangahake Gorge. Located in between Paeroa and Waihi we found the water was very heavy most likely from all the rain we had last week. I even managed to get a photo of a couple of tourists getting their photos taken in front of the waterfall.

Nice. The falls has a beautiful veil water.
The people getting photographed give you a good sense of perspective. That's a beautiful waterfall.
That is an impressive waterfall.
OMG, if only i previously learned that there is a lovely waterfalls in Waikato we could have detoured and went there. I hope there will be a next time. Here sometimes we really take very difficult time just to see one. I've been to that one in Auckland, now the name slipped my head.
Wow, this looks beautiful!!!
Great pictures of the falls. I hope all that extra rain from the ex-TC Debbie hasn't done too much damage.
I love waterfalls! Some that are very high though scares me but yes, I do love them, especially this one that looks like a beautiful A-Line Gown!

So incredible! Would love to visit a waterfall like this (very different from the ones I have visited).
What a beautiful and picturesque waterfall
Waterfalls are some of my favourite things, and these photos are beautiful.

I have not seen these falls before. I like the cascading slope of these falls. I think the recent rains have helped all the waterfalls.
When we were full-time travelers, I used to say I collected waterfalls, because we'd go out of our way to see them...I still love them .... yours here would be an amazing addition to my 'collection'. Thanks for sharing it.
I love waterfalls, wherever they are, was able to see only one in Auckland. But i was able to see plenty of them at Milford Sound. If i will be lucky to be there again, i will visit this one, as you said it is not very far from the road. I am an old lady already, hahaha!
