One of my favourite spots ever! Matauri Bay holiday park - most likely busy and full over the Summer months but quiet over Autumn and Winter, probably the perfect time to holiday when there's no one around. You can see the early morning fog rising up off the tide to the right of the photo. News from here: my 2 are visiting their friends at the moment, they left early Thursday morning on the travel bus and will be staying with family so the apartment is quiet at the moment. 2 working days till I finish work!
