Yellow

Can we call the building on the right "yellow"? I hope so. This is a photo of one of the roads around Devonport in Auckland. I use to work in this town many years ago and I vaguely remember at some point visiting this building, I could be wrong but I think it use to be a pub, there's something in the back of my memories where I vaguely remember visiting there for drinks when I was in my late teens/early 20s. I don't think it is now, we drove past it and it looked like the bottom level was now a cafe. There is a naval base in this suburb at the opposite end.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and the Weekend Roundup.

Yes, it's quite a nice cafe, had lunch there a couple of weeks back. I love going to Devonport from time to time. Still a beautiful Auckland place!

The colour reminds me of houses here. Tuscan yellow. A warm colour. It's very popular here now

So very Kiwi low-rise. Love it.

That yellow building definitely stands out, and it’s amazing how certain places can stir up such hazy yet vivid memories from years ago. Devonport really has a way of holding onto its charm

If you've got it use it. Yellow is not easy to find. So, looks yellow to me. I forgot my Yellow school busses saved, oh well, next time.

And that on the shortest day of the year but you may call it yellow indeed.
