Cafe

Here in New Zealand there is a big South African community in various towns and cities. This one in Hokitika sells mostly products like Biltong, Milk tart and other delicacies. I haven't actually been in there yet to check them out but probably will do next time I'm in town.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and Shadow Shot Sunday.

We have a lot of Polish people here that bring their special foods here and sell them in Polish shops. It's one place we can find pierogies most of the year.

As an expat there is always one thing you find you eventually cannot live happily without. Those expat shops become lifelines. (Alrhough even then I couldn't get parsnips in Greece!🤣)

Sounds good, I don't think I've ever tried South African food.

That sounds great! I don't think I've ever had the chance to try South African cuisine.

If it's anything like the African restaurant here, the food will be great.

I looked up milk tart and biltong (which sounds like what I'd call jerky, maybe different spices) and both sound delicious! I love the shadows! Thanks for linking to Shadow Shot Sunday.

So colorful, and I'm sure the food would be interesting and hot-spicy.
