Clouds

Winter is here. We've had the odd polar blast but the one that's come through this week has been particularly nippy. There has been snow on the mountains and out at places like Arthur's Pass and the Otira Gorge.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday and Tom's Signs.

Yes, that polar blast was a little nippy wasn't it? Today has been beautiful, in contrast.

That doesn't look like winter.

To some extent those alps protect you folks on the Coast from the full blast from the pole. Very atmospheric photo.

Do you ever get snow where you live? Whenever we get snow on the tops of the mountains around us it's decidedly nippy.

Looks like Oklahoma in late November or so. Love the gas station with the with big exclamation mark. Here in Oklahoma when I first moved here in the 80's liquor stores could not have signs that said liquor store so all they all used a big arrowhead with no writing to show what they were.

Nice vista. As an avid bicyclist I´m happy to see that bike lane.

Although cold, mountains with a covering of snow are always beautiful.
