I don't know about you but I love a good vintage shop. I spotted this one in Murchison earlier this week but sadly it was closed.
Aptly named dust and rust it looks like judging from the objects outside, it lives up to it's name.
I've been seeing alot of Christmas trees lately. These ones above and below were seen at Christchurch airport when we were there 2 wee...

Get back to see it when you can!
Dust and Rust is an excellent name. Did you go inside?
Ps of course you didn't go inside. It was closed 😞😞 hope you return and show us the inside one day
Nother more satisfying than rooting round shops like that. Even if you don't find anything you want the sheer enjoyment of looking happifies me.
😀😁i reckon i have the exact same photos of that place. Also closed when we were there. Great isn't it?
A very nice find indeed and I love the entrance. Very unusual for a wooden building.
Love the abandoned car!
Beautiful! Sad it was closed.
The place has character. Nice new header too.
...my kind of place, a neat Morris Vanguard.
That's the sort of place I love. Lots to look at even if you have no intention of buying anything. Great pic of the old rust bucket.
I love junk shops.
Quaint place and name!
Neat place to put it mildly. I so would go inside too. The name is very nice also.
So good.
A very nice place. I never go inside such places but I would love to take photographs of the exterior and the things they have scattered around.
Dust and Rust.... name is perfect for that closed shop.
You really need to go back. It looks so intriguing!
This is certainly an inviting-looking shop. Makes me wish I weren't so averse to flying these days, else I'd be out your way looking for this. I have a Pinterest board devoted to "Rust and Rusticity"--and this is such a great example. Thanks for sharing the lovely photo.

I love the timelessness of vintage shops.
Charming photos, Amy.
Hugs and blessings
I like the look of the shop.
