Win

Just about every town in New Zealand has a lotto store. This one on the main street of Westport is no different. Either it's a section in a supermarket or in a smaller shop (4 Square). Very very popular but most elderly people prefer to play it by getting their tickets bought and checked instore. Others like us modern people have an app on our phones and play it online. I use to play it alot but don't anymore, it seems that all I get is bonus tickets and no wins. Waste of money sometimes.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and the Weekend Roundup.

Amy, I'm with you, lottery is to loose money for most. I too have quit buying tickets also.
Ours are sold mostly in grocery stores and in gas stations.
I like your small town streets, you can keep having them, it suits me fine. I might have a few here and there to pull.

I stopped lotto as well. Best to put the money in other uses.

It´s more lightly that you´re gonna be hit by lightning - and meteorite - than it´s to win The Prize in Lottery.

I remember going to the lotto shop with my mother. Alas she never had that big win she hoped for.
Now we play 'joker' here. The lotto shop is amongst the cages so easy to access.
Come on Jackpot!!!

I don't play the lottery here either. Big waste of money.

I play the lottery once a year. I give a scratch-off to Hubs as a stocking stuffer. He sometimes wins enough to play again. :)

They have lotteries here too.

I won $10 the first time I bought a ticket (with a friend who bought one every week) but after that I only ever bought one when we went away for the weekend to tournaments and had a kitty. I don't ever recall us winning!
