No eXit

This is down one of the side streets in town where the library is. It's been never-ending sunny Winter days here with the cold at night getting down to low of between 0 and 6 degrees celsius so the latter isn't too bad. We are still trying to dig out all the dirt from under our house so that the underfloor insulation can be completed. Sometimes when I get up in the morning although we have newish carpet over original Rimu floor boards it's still quite cold on my feet. Will be good when that's done.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and the Weekend Roundup.

Pretty clever finding that word, "Exit", painted on the street surface. We are about to your coldest (next week??) days.

She´s going to a dead end. Hope you´ll get the insulation done before it´s more cold. Nice shot!

Your winter looks good. Hope your insulation comes in soon. We live ground floor and the cellar is a pain in winter.

Notice that the trees don't lose their leaves in winter, which is different from here in the northern hemisphere.

Our friends in Blenheim were so lucky that their floor had almost a metre gap to the ground. A group of us helped them insulate under the house, the youngest of us crawling underneath the house! You could tell the difference straight away..and walking barefoot on wood is a lovely feeling!
