This is mine, my backyard with my house to the right and our neighbour across the road. When we first moved here it was a huge mess with overgrown grass and trees too close to the house. Since we've been here we've had a massive tidy up including planting a lemon tree, a mandarin tree and a cherry tree. We live 5 minutes out of town so far away to not be too close to the neighbours but close enough Greymouth if we need something.
Yesterday morning B and I picked these off one of the neighbour's plum tree that overhangs on our side of the property, they are all look and feel very juicy. Last night we gave half the plums to one of our neighbours and swapped the rest with our other neighbour when he gave us 2 of his tomato plants. Life is good.

A great spot with lots of green grass. And plenty of space for those trees
Looks like you found the perfect spot. Those fruit trees will be nice when they grow and produce fruit.
That's just the right size section.
Happy gardening!!
Fresh plums - oh frabjous day!

Such a big space with grass! A place to live!
F is so envious of your 1/4 acre paradise. She has said that you make it seem like it never rains in Greymouth. (Which would be a vast improvement on Southern England in my view.) xxx Mr T
...owning a home has always been the "American Dream." Today that dream isn't reality for many. Congratulations.
The place looks good.
Wow, that looks like a lot of space!
Cleaning up the property is always a chore but the end result is well worth it.
The place looks fantastic!
So much space!
Hugs and blessings, Amy!
