Stone Oven Cafe

Last year in Spring on one of our visits to Hokitika (me, B, my youngest son C and my daughter R) we stopped in at the "Stone Oven Cafe" which is on one of the main roads there. Inside on one of the walls was this mural which to me looks like it celebrates the music scene in New Orleans. Not sure why as the cafe is not themed with it's food in this way but it's colourful and well done anyway.

We enjoyed the food and as usual I ordered my favourite which is Eggs Benedict with salmon - yum.

Linking up with Mural Monday.

Looks nice and inviting. I'll have the same, too. :)

New Orleans intrigues a lot of people all over the world. Eggs Benedict, which also appeals everywhere, seems to have been invented in New York City. Cosmopolitan.

I agree that the masked man with the wild hat looks like it is straight out of Mardi Gras. It's a beautiful and well done mural.

New Orleans I sure would want to visit, seems many want and they simply bring it to you - nice idea and now I am hungry.

Nice mural at the Cafe. I also love having eggs Benedict when I go out to breakfast.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.

Vegetables

We may be in mid Autumn here but my vegetable garden has been busy. Above is the harvest of cauliflower, Chinese cabbage, parsley, oregano...
