Fudge

A street scene from Paihia in the Summer 2021. Streets were still pretty quiet with people getting out and about but wary of covid as it was just beginning to hit Northland. This was in an alleyway where there are quite a few shops, one of which is Ella's fudge. I'm not a really much of a fudge fan, I find it too sweet but their website shows some pretty yummy treats. I much prefer the Movenpick ice cream shop in the background.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and the Weekend roundup.

Too much sugar in the fudge. I agree that ice cream is the best alternative to top off a meal.

I've lost my taste for supersweet stuff for fudge. I'm more of a gingersnap cookie kind of guy.

Fudge is a rarity for me. I last bought some here during the tulip festival in May.

Not particularly fond of fudge either.

I like fudge but I haven't had any for a long time. Chocolate is my favorite but no nuts, please.
Nice word choice.

The fudge sign is making my mouth water. I would prefer the fudge over the free WIFI. ;-)

Omg I love fudge. Our English neighbours used to bring us awesome fudge each summer. So sweet, so delicious. It was hard to ration it!

I'm the same way with fudge. I LOVE chocolate but somehow fudge is just too sweet.

Fudge is too sweet for me unless it's hot and poured over ice cream. Strange?

I still enjoy a nice piece of fudge occasionally, but it is only a very rare treat these days.
