There are lots of little old abandoned houses on the West Coast, probably leftover from the goldmining days of when miners or farmers lived in them. This one is in Stillwater, about 25 minutes from town right next to the railway depot.

A nice wee house..a two room house in Scotland is a Butt and Ben...just waiting for someone to care for it!
Love to hear the stories behind this house, it still looks sturdy.
That's sort of sad. It's very like the Australian ones too. #RubyTuesdayToo
There is something sad yet fascinating about old abandoned houses.
Happy Tuesday, Amy!
Such a beautiful house with tons of memories.
It would be fun to poke around in abandoned places like this to see if treasures have been left behind and to try to interpret the past lived there.

So common in the rural SI of my youth - cottages, colonial cob houses, huts and bothies that were slowly rusting or crumbling away, or had been turned into sheds.
A little bit of work and maybe it could become a useful building again.
...I love it. Aged to perfection.
Beautifully composed and shot!
... wonderful for spinning stories.
Hug and thanks.
Oh! Did you go in? I just got a book on abandoned places in Braunschweig!
Old and abandoned yet still welcoming.
It has character.
