Peet

Wednesday night Bingo anyone? A photo from the 3 years I lived in Tauranga one day when I was wandering around by the waterfront where I spotted this sign. Does anyone actually play Bingo anymore? I know my grandparents use to love going to the local hall for weekly Bingo. There are other things to look at in this photo too like the "Peet Jewellers" sign - Ive never heard of them either and the "Drake recruitment" sign.

I know of a couple places here that hold a bingo night, but neither are places I'd go to in the first place.

My parents used to love going to Bingo back in the 60s. I see adverts on the tv for online bingo. I wonder how popular that is.

Years ago colleagues sent pages of BS-Bingo around. Woah, go to a meeting and not laugh!

...BINGO does seem to be as popular these days.

We have a Bingo sign that's on the main road. I don't remember what night it's held. I played once back in the 80s with a friend of mine. It was packed.

I always liked playing bingo with my family. The local community center has a bingo night, but I've never been. Guess I should go some Saturday night. Nice post.

that was never a thing in my country, but I wouldn't mind trying ;-)

I've only played bingo a few times and that was a long time ago. Maybe it will make a comeback?
