Another Kaikohe mural - this one is in the Marino Court area. After googling it I think this one maybe have been painted by kiwi Denis Wilford. "Whakatau MaiRa" means in Maori "Please decide".

Beautiful mural, hard to find a meaning to the words, but maybe that´s what it´s all about?
I had these words in my mind too often here, as companies use the casual "du" when looking for an employee and use the official "Sie" answering, and I always think: DECIDE! Du/Sie, what?!

I remember the murals in Kaikohe..they have names on them , local people,others known further afield..my cousin was on one, looking a bit younger than he does now!!
