Views over Paihia

I was in Paihia with my daughter yesterday and after we parked the car we climbed to the top of this hill - this was the view over the lower part of the town.

We are now into early Summer so it was a stinking hot day, we stopped at one point and treated ourselves to Movenpick ice creams.

Linking up with My Corner of the World and Wordless Wednesday

Good old Paihia. I was just dawdling through the post until you mentioned Movenpick ice creams. Then my ears, eyes and taste buds perked up.

It looks so quiet and peaceful. I'd say it will look quite different in a couple of weeks when the visitors arrive.

Lovely town and the Movenpick ice cream would make it even better.

Love your view from the hill. You got a helicopter, a pier, houses, highway and all sorts of other stuff.

I just love the green between the houses and thank heavens NZ is a country where that largely does not represent a seasonal fire risk to people's homes.
