It comes and goes

Last night after some particularly heavy rain squalls I attempted to get outside and while lying our our deck set up my camera to experiment trying to get some shots of the moon. Early on I got this one and then tried to do better.

It seems that was my only good one as shortly after that the clouds came back again and the moon seemed to highlight the colours around it.

Linking up with Our World Tuesday.

That is a good full moon picture. Mine wasn’t good at all but was happy because it is the only one I’ve been able to see for a while ... and there was some context (branches) to frame it. .... by the way, the turkeys in my post are wild. They were along the road and (apparently) trying to get through that fence and into somebodys yard.

I like these shots. I love the clouds swirling around the moon.

I would be proud of those moon shot. I do okay with the moon almost filling up the frame as then you can just set the camera on auto. I would like to take decent moon shot in back of a landscape and I am a total failure at that.

I took some similar images yesterday but with the northern perspective of the moon :)

The moon is very hard to photograph satisfactorily. You've managed to get it and the aura or halo rather well too.

That's a much better moon shot than I've ever managed to get Amy ☺ love the mysteriously disappearing into the clouds moon in the second shot!
