A nice quiet afternoon at the beach

Day 1 of my 2 days off each week. Most Sundays we like to amble down to the beach for a few hours with our deckchairs, a good book and some cold wine and enjoy the sun, sea and sand...

Doesn't it look tempting?

I am soooo envious at this very moment when we have beautiful sun but freezing temperatures!

You look to be enjoying this long warm summer. Let's hope for another month of sunny days without cyclone effects.

It does indeed! And makes me envious that you can walk to it! Also that it is apparently a quiet beach -- we know where those are in Oregon -- but the ones near us here in FL are all so crowded. (And in neither place can we walk there.) (Jealousy aside, I am really very glad you shared this peaceful beauty.)

I envy you all your beaches. In sweden sw don´t have many of these. Our "beaches" are mostly rocky and forested. :(
