Time for sandcastles

With the weather so fine and sunny lately I've been getting out more and more for beach walks. Sunday's one saw lots more people doing just the same including these girls making sandcastles near the walkway. Better enjoy it while we can, I hear there's another cold snap coming...

Linking up with Skywatch Friday :-)

It must be wonderful to live so close to a beach that you can walk there everyday.

a day at the beach is always nice --the sandcastles are a bonus :))

Wonderful capture with lots to look at and think about. The footprints in the sand lead one nicely down the beach, where we can stop and observe the sand castle building or further down to the people in the surf, or up into that wonderful sky. Yours is a perfect example when it is OK to ignore the principle of not having the horizon right in the middle. Kudos!!

Love that sky Amy! Yes beach weather is approaching a little too quickly for me.. acclimatizing to the hot weather isn't fun :)

Ooh, I love this shot --especially the sky in it. It's getting a bit too nippy for the beach here now.
