Very chilly very nippy sunrise...

We really do get some lovely skies here at the beach...Tuesday morning here's what I snapped as I walked down the main street. Sun trying to peep through the clouds, cargo ship moored in the distance and the reflection of the rays over the water - just perfect. Winter is here, the electric blanket is on the bed, sweaters and long pants are out of storage and the frosty air nips at my nose most mornings. But it's all good - I think after 2 years of being here I"m finally settling in.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday :-)

Nice shot, I love cold rooms and electric blankets but I lost that discussion a long time ago here in our home.

our houses here in NZ are different from American ones. we don't have central heating here and we rely on heaters or fireplaces or heat pumps etc so we have to dress up warm and use our electric blankets. We don't get snow in this region where we live you'd have to travel about an hour or so for that, think the lowest we get to at night would be about 0 deg celsius.

Great pic! I wish I had a camera when I went across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge one time during sunset. It was absolutely beautiful and I will never forget it.

That is a beautiful Winter Day my dear! I wouldn't love the frost nipping my nose anymore -- but I'm old and spoiled.

I didn't realize you'd only lived there for a couple of years -- you know so much about the area.
