Ultra clean

I think from memory this photo was taken through the window of the car somewhere maybe around Newmarket in Auckland. It seems like there are forever road works going on especially over Summer which seems to be a silly time given the fact that there are more people around on holiday. Traffic here is pretty bad and mostly bumper to bumper. I wish they would add more roads but a bit impossible in the cities.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday and Tom's Signs.

So many works are done here too in the summer. On an island which lives from tourism it's ridiculous.

That is a large orange 'boy's toy' parked there. Mr B wants one of those for our place in NZ. I'm not sure about the efficacy of that but if it keeps him out of trouble.....

...I wonder if Ultra Clean could do anything with my dirty SUV?

I've had to accept the reality that road construction projects never end!

Our countries are so alike that I often know it's Aus or NZ before reading the details.

The potholes appear every spring and the roadwork ends with the first snow accumulation, etcetera. etc...

All cities are work in progress!

Since Gabrielle roadworks are just a fact of life around here, Amy. There is one huge slip on our way into town which the council obviously doesn't have a plan to fix as they have concreted the witches hats in place.

In Finland too that´s every summers bother. In here you just can´t do roadwork on winter.

Road construction is a problem everywhere. It's very much needed but very disruptive when it happens.

We have the same problem here.

Christmas memories

B decided to put up our Christmas tree last week then he discovered that some of the lights don't work so he ordered some more online....
