An old one from Kerikeri about a year and a half ago. Back when Covid hit everyone was hard done by financially The government trying to help reduced petrol prices for everyone. But now the fuel tax cut is at an end and petrol has gone up again to nearly $3 NZD per litre so people will be struggling again as inflation goes up. I'm sure we are not the only country going through this.

Your petrol price is insane!
You are right. Here in the netherlands the same.
...WOW!
I am so thankful I don´t have to care about that anymore.
They really should work out concepts.
Some have to drive to be able to work, some may work from home (50/50 here) - some drive for fun only.
Here you get some tax-money back when you have to drive, but it´s still not "fair" - not that I have a good solution...
It's marginally more expensive in the UK.
Petrol is expensive here too.
Petrol at $2.45?
Try our local cheapest at $2.80.....and still heading for $4 in some places, especially motorways...
Heavens, that's expensive . We got a fuel bonus over the winter but petrol prices have actually gone down a bit.
You need a bike. An Ebike maybe
That's interesting as we are paying a similar price here in the UK. With inflation running at 9%, times are hard for many.
The prices are pretty much same in Finland at the moment. Used to be higher not so long ago. And it´s pound to go higher than that in near future. I´m so glad I don´t have a car.
Yessss, we know here very well what you describe. It`s a similiar situation! We bought last year a E-Car. But the prices for energy is high too.
