Shoulder closed

There aren't many roadworks that happen here except if rocks slide off the mountains but when we were looking for a carpark in town on one of the main streets it puzzled me. This sign was up but for no reason, there was nothing happening.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and the Weekend Roundup.

I observed similar signs on the freeway everywhere I went as well. No roadwork whatsoever with a 40 km/hr speed limit

Very nice Street Photography! In Finland those roadworks are plenty every summer. Many time they means huge traffic jams. Especially in city environment.

Maybe tomorrow? We have a lot of roadwork on our FM 1463 Hwy as they are making it four lane instead of the two we have.

It for sure doesn't look necessary.

Summer is the time for roadworks here. There is something always going on and it's endless.

...for me it's strange to see the cars parked on the opposite side of the street.

We had signage up here for a couple of weeks. It was only at that point that they actually started the work.

I think some times they forget to take those signs down! I hope you have a lovely week ahead.

Strange, I've seen similar signs with no work done.

I'm sure we've all stood in this same way at airports in our lives. This one features B and 2 tourists waiting for coffee at Auckl...
