Cafe

One from when we were in Westport in January before we moved to the west coast.  Behind the couple in the photo there is a cafe situated on the corner of the main street. But it looks like they are about to enter the Palm Street Gallery which is nestled in among the shops along the main street through town.

Apparently it is a community gallery celebrating the artists all around Westport. They have paintings, wood carvings, bone carvings, sculptures, flaxwork, beadwork, candle, pounamu jewellery and cards.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and Weekend Roundup.

Thank you, Amy,I loved the small towns of NZ. We took a Princess from Aukland around the east and south and over to Tasmania. Before the cruise Mrs. Jim and I ferried over to Devonport where we strolled the streets and climbed Mount Victoria.

Tom gave you a COULE more "C's" and you also missed COMMUNITIY gallery. A great idea in a town to support local artists. I hope you have a lovely week ahead.

Nice shot, I love community art galleries and coffee shops and such. "Third places" where people can come together.

I like the cafe sign. I wouldn't mind taking a peek inside the gallery.
