A rainy December

Last time we were in Whangarei was December 2021 when Northland had a particularly wet early Summer. This was taken next to The Strand near the centre of town and there is a very yummy sushi shop across the road.

Beautiful street scene! Rainy days can be great for photography. This one sure was.

That street has a really nice feel about it. Like something familiar or an embrace from a friend.

It looks quiet maybe because of the rain.

I'd say it's a little bit wetter in town today, Amy. Plenty of rainy opportunities around today.

Surprised to see a palm tree in the picture. We would love some rain here. It's been weeks since any fell.

That is a lovely NZ street scene. But it is the word sushi that kept out at me. Yummy indeed. I hope you sampled some

There is something about rain soaked street scenes that appeals to me. This is great.
