Last time we were in Whangarei was December 2021 when Northland had a particularly wet early Summer. This was taken next to The Strand near the centre of town and there is a very yummy sushi shop across the road.

Beautiful street scene! Rainy days can be great for photography. This one sure was.
That street has a really nice feel about it. Like something familiar or an embrace from a friend.
It looks quiet maybe because of the rain.
I'd say it's a little bit wetter in town today, Amy. Plenty of rainy opportunities around today.
Surprised to see a palm tree in the picture. We would love some rain here. It's been weeks since any fell.
That is a lovely NZ street scene. But it is the word sushi that kept out at me. Yummy indeed. I hope you sampled some
Looks like a lovely rainy day!
There is something about rain soaked street scenes that appeals to me. This is great.
...this looks beautiful to me. It so hot and dry here at the moment!
I like that view.
Lovely picture.
I love this mini-urban rainy scene.
I'm always up for good sushi.
I love this rainy mini-urban scene. And sign me up for sushi anytime.
Great street photography! 👍
And we're having a rainy July.
It's been a while since I've seen rain, so this looks delightful!

Looks like a nice and clean city.
