On the car ferry

A few days ago I decided to spend the day with B while he was out working. Because he's a technician that fixes peoples internet and phone lines etc he travels every day. He had a job to go to in Rawene so after he finished it we took the car ferry over to Kohukohu, sadly we didn't get to stop and get photos of Rawene township because just as we got to the wharf the ferry was already there ready to go. We were at the back, one of the last cars on.

Oh btw I got my 2nd covid vaccination yesterday - yay!

Linking up with Skywatch Friday.

...good news about your vaccination! Ferries are rare in this area.

Oh. Memories from looooong ago, being on a ferry with a car!
Or being at the ocean, for that matter.

Good on you for being vaccinated. You can take as many trips as you want now and know you're in far less danger

haha - Mr B and F took a motorbike holiday along the south of England one summer and decided they would use every ferry on every river and estuary that they could find. It meant a lot of deviations off main roads of course which all have bridges these days, but they came back with a lot of photos like that one! xxx Mr T

I did have my second wax week ago, welcome to the club. It´s been ages since I last been on a car ferry. Water is so therapytic element.

Greetings and Salutations! I usually look for car ferries nearby when we travel. It is a short water trip and see something different. Glad you are fully vaccinated now. Have a great week end.
