In most regions and towns here are these signs warning people of how high or low the risk of a fire is. Usually in Summer most of the country enforces a fire ban which means you can't light fires at all including incinerators and outdoor fire pits etc. Because we are now in Autumn the risk starts to get lower and the fire ban comes off around March - this photo was taken in Taupo last week while we were out for a walk.

As the fire bans come off, our water restrictions get lifted too. Autumn is a good time of year :)
There is similar signage here too.
I think we used to breathe a sigh of relief when we got through to Autumn - having said that it seems in Melbourne where our family are they've had no end of rain recently which is always good to keep the Fire Danger warnings low.
Have a lovely day

It's always good to be vigilant at all times. We can never be too careful.
...fire is a problem is many places, fortunately it's a minor problem here. Take care and stay safe.
We're not considered to be at risk for fires just now, but the id4ea of fires can be terrifying to contemplate. Stay safe!

We need a few big boards like that just to remind people. We can only burn till 15th April. Seems very early this year. Must have had a dry winter
We see those kind of signs here too.
We have those signs (and those risks) here in the Pacific Northwest USA too. Hoping for a less dangerous fire season this summer.
Never seen anything like that. In Finland they warn for fires is broadcasted in radio. And in The Net nowadays.
I know that road like the back of my hand. Better in fact. I used to love travelling along it. Preferably on a warm day with the top down. Thanks for the wonderful reminder.
I'm glad they are everywhere to be helpful.
Thanks for joining us at 'My Corner of the World' this week!
Oh, I remember those scary signs from our travels in Australia.
Sometimes I´m glad I live in boring but safe Germany!
Yes this is a familiar sign Amy. It doesn't take much to start a fire in our hot summers ✨
