Reflections over Cherry Bay - McLaren Falls

The other day when I drove out to McLaren Falls here in Tauranga I did a bit of exploring of the park and just around the corner from the cafe and entrance is this area - Cherry Bay, filled with loads of Autumn colours and this lake had some lovely reflections going on.

As I walked around I came to this clearing where old branches and leaves had fallen down - filled with browns and bronzes it was very quiet and peaceful.

And this picnic area complete with seats and table was a perfect place to sit and take in all the scenery.

I'd be delighted to sit at that table for a while .. Such lovely reflections and rich Autumn tones. Great spot... Loved the redder leaves in the post below as well. Very nice.
