Anzac Day sunset and flaming skies

Good morning! I hope this Friday is treating you well so far. Last Saturday for us Kiwis and those in Australia was Anzac Day. After an emotional day here in Mangawhai this is what I saw from my backyard. At the moment in our street we have lots of new houses being built as there are quite a few empty sections and the skies looked very vibrant almost on fire so thought taking a photo of it was quite appropriate.

Hope your week has gone well - for more Skywatch Fridays click here :-)

I love the color of the sky. I hope those houses they're building won't block this beautiful view.

Hi Amy, Thanks for coming to my blog... I hope you return often. I am enjoying yours. Sorry about your job and possible move. BUT--one has to go where the work is... Hope things work out for you...

Beautiful sky.... My brother and sister-in-law (who are both dead now) used to do MUCH traveling all over the world. They always said that New Zealand was one of the prettiest places they ever visited...

Hugs,
Betsy
