Photo of a part of Greymouth near the Grey River taken around 8pm at night so not many people around. |
It's been a funny week so far. I've been rearranging my vegetable garden to get it ready for Autumn. One end of it has more soil than the other so I've had to dig parts of it up to even it all out. I've had an abundance of spring onions coming up due to scraps we've thrown into the compost along with some Broccoflower and Purple Cabbage. I like to pass things along to other people sometimes so I gave a bag of mixed veges to a Maori lady that comes into my work. Finances are tight for everyone so hopefully it made a difference to her.

The golden hue casts a lovely light
What a beautiful and peaceful sunset you’ve captured! The quiet of Greymouth near the Grey River in the evening sounds so serene. Your vegetable garden rearranging sounds like a productive task, and how wonderful that your spring onions, Broccoflower, and Purple Cabbage are flourishing! I love that you shared your abundance with someone in need; that’s a really thoughtful and generous act. The way you’re connecting with your community and the land is truly inspiring.
Hi, wishing you a great Wednesday: I just shared a new post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/
...each evening the sun sets, but in winter our overcast skies hide the beauty.
It is good to share
Beautiful light, street capture.
Beautiful sunset! And ... sounds like some hard work in your garden. I never saw Purple Cabbage here. Very nice of you to share!
Good on you for passing on your surplus. I'm sure it was appreciated. We sometimes get gifts like that and are very grateful. And we pass on our surplus too, lemons or fish usually
