Dry

I took this photo after I finished work one night at 8pm. It's very light at this time of day being Summer here but it has been very dry. We were due for a thunderstorm earlier this week which didn't really eventuate. Alot of peoples water tanks are nearly empty, our is about 1/4 from the bottom but many like us have the option of switching on town supply to fill it up.

Edited to add: yay we had a day of steady rain yesterday.

It hasn't rained here for 3 consecutive weeks

That is dry. So different from here people having their own water supply and also connected to the city water if they need it.

Wonderful colours in the photo. But I certainly hope it rains soon. You need it

Glad you had rain - it's horrible that constant thinking about drought and hoping for rain all the time...I've spent a lot of my life listening to the discussion of dam levels on the news. #Allseasons

It is far from dry here. We ended a walk early today because the path was too muddy.

Veges, eggs and crochet

Mornings are slowly starting to get darker here and nights are getting a bit nippy. I was asked by a friend if I could make a crochet knee...
