Unfortunately while we were in Auckland I didn't get to venture into the central city which I spent years working in when I lived there - the traffic was just too heavy. It seems the bus system has been updated but New Zealand desperately needs a decent train/light rain system which I doubt is going to happen with our current government in power. The traffic regularly gridlocks and is literally bumper to bumper a lot of the time.

..blue is a wonderful blue!
Saw a road sign the other day: STUCK IN TRAFFIC? YOU ARE THE TRAFFIC.
There is a big campaign underway here in S'pore to get people to walk, cycle, ride. (Ride means on bus or MRT). At the same time they are building ever bigger roads - go figure.
Looks like a lot of constructions going on. The traffic is rather mad.
Perth has a system of free busses to keep people from coming into the CBD by car.
All countries need to follow the Netherlands example and stop developing car centric infrastructure.
Lots of traffic is not good for anyone.
So much traffic. Auckland really does need a metro, tram system. That needs a lot of work. Hope they make a decision one day
That is a country I would like to visitt
Busy....but not compared to the busy here! #RubyTuesdayToo
Traffic seems to be the bane of most cities these days particularly as public transport falters for one reason or another.
Happy MosaicMonday
