Another one from our week in Orewa, north of Auckland. This little restaurant is along the main road and from memory I think it use to be a shop/ice cream parlour in the 1970s when my grandparents use to live in town. It wasn't very busy at the time in the morning but hopefully by the afternoon it had some customers.
The beach was right across the road near where we were standing, that's how close it is to the town and roads etc.
Linking up with Weekend Reflections, All Seasons and the Weekend Roundup.

From your photo I can see the yellow brick road leads to Somewhere Else. A fine photo.
If its close to the beach then hopefully it does do well, specially on sunny days in summer.
The facade has a unique design
A pretty, old building. Is the second floor for living quarters?
Jim,
..
It looks indeed a bit in the middle of nowhere.
...Someplace Else looks inviting.
I like the name, it's unique.
Very cool having a commercial area so close to the beach.
I love nostalgic places like this, dear Amy!
Have a nice weekend!
All the best from a place close to Vienna, Austria, Traude

Close to the beach would help, but it looks so cut-off by roads for cars.
Nice little old house. Small City vibes. I like this.
The yellow brick road is sweet #Allseasons
I like the look of it.
