So last week R (my daughter) and I finally popped into a local shop named "The Vintage Collective" that has been open for a while. Any 2nd hand shops in town aren't that great, in fact we haven't found anything really that has anything decent...until now.
I sometimes collect vintage stuff but it has to be something that will go with my house interior or something I can use.
In the end I bought an old Brownie camera, a green tea cup and saucer and a lovely 1960s pea green coat. The prices were pretty reasonable too.

I love that coat. Beautiful photo. Must have been so much fun browsing there
The first camera I ever used was my mother's brownie camera. I was in 10th grade. Had lots of fun with it. I would definitely stop in and browse in that shop.
Are you going to use the camera? I saw a man in the street using one, and he was dressed to match (like Max Dupain!) #BlueMonday
treasure hunt! yeeey!
Good finds! That looks like a well set out op shop
That's a shop I'd like to visit, especially if I could find a bargain like that lovely coat.
I'd like to visit that shop too.
That is indeed a lovely coat, Amy.
Hugs and blessings.
That coat looks lovely. A real find.
Yes these types of 2nd hand stores can be a true treasure trove. That coat, for example, is amazing. Good find.

...lots of vintage treasures!
Well, hello Amy! Nice to see you. 🙂
I go to flea markets and/or other vintage/retro places regulary. Bought tons of stuff over the years. Actually not long ago I was photographer in recycling center´s webstore. Best job I ever had.
I love vintage stuff. Nice coat!
Nice finds! I am lucky I find such things in the street. In fact I´ve never been in such a store (way too dangerous).
Looks like a good shop.
F has to sooo stay away from such places. We live in a village of charity second hand shops - 13 last count - and you can easily make a full day out of doing the rounds.
Looks like the sort of shop I would love to browse through - love your coat too :)
Such a lovely surprise to find some great goodies!
Thanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
Fascinating little shop!

It's amazing what one can sometimes find in such places.
Beautiful things in there, I wouldn't left empty handed either! Envy your Brownie!
