Rawene Bus Stop Mural

On the way to Rawene is this little old bus stop painted (a few years ago by the look of it) with mostly Maori art and a Christian cross. Upon researching this I suspect the art was painted by local group Akau based in Kaikohe.

Linking up with Mural Monday.

Bus stops are nice to have, we don't have one. The mural adds the beauty to this one.

What a clever and perfect way for patrons to wait for the bus. I like how the mural is on all sides, too. Nice find, Amy.

Waiting for the school bus would be a lot more fun in that shed, I'm sure. It never dawned on me that we could paint ours!

So much nicer with the mural! We have but plain glass.

Bus and cars, btw.. I worked hard for the cars but it was FUN! It was a dream job. (Just adding on your comment. I had a great boss, really).

I know busstops that can use a little upgrade like this one. Nice.
