Kerikeri Fire Brigade

This fire engine is part of our local brigade - all strictly run by volunteers of course and they are usually very busy throughout the year.

We so rely on our fire fighters and some of the horrible jobs they have to do.

I admire firefighters.

It looks not that different from ours. There's a fire house a few blocks away from my place, and on occasion I'll hear them pass in the night.

Pretty firetruck. We have two Local Firehouse near our home. The one bearer is not for us.

...that's quite a paint job on that truck. IVECO is a brand that I rarely see here.

Ohhhh, boy.
In your place these "darn" e-scooters are at least parked neatly.
Here... if you have a stroller with a baby in, sit in a wheelchair, whatever, it´s a "challenge" (referring to your banner). They´re a pest over here.

Hubby was such a volunteer (now too old, "luckily", as I always got scared when the siren went off, he was one of those with oxygen and went in always).
Now the main fire-station is just around the corner - we never hear them, though - clever guys.

We sure do like our firemen. Several years ago, we needed their services. Happy Saturday!

I haven't seen where our fire station is located. We found the area where it is on google so I'll have to walk that way sometime. The fire station looks very modern.
