$2 shop lockdown

Another photo I've found from our 2020 lockdown, hardly anyone around the streets, the odd car here and there but deathly quiet.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup.

We have gold coin shop (cos our 1 dollar and 2 dollars are gold coins) or the $2 shop

The Dollarama is the most wide spread of them here, but there are a couple of others.

...dollar stores sure have become popular. I remember as a kid there were 5 and dimes, look what inflation can do!

It was the same here in the first lockdown.
We just call it the dollar store although most things cost more than a dollar.

Like Tom, I too remember the "Five and Dime" stores. Now we have "Dollar Stores" and "99c Stores" here in Texas. Oh yes, a "5$ or Less Store" chain.
Your window Reflections shot is really good.

Dollar stores are everywhere these days. Sad to see the empty streets.
