When you live or travel in the country you might see these dotted around. Us Kiwis have alot of independant stalls around where various orchards might sell their produce. At the moment winter for us means citrus time, not only is my lemon tree full but it looks like these guys have a nice surplus of oranges, grapefruit, mandarins and avocados to sell. This week I"m going to start making my yearly supply of lemon honey. What are some of your favourite lemon recipes?

I love lemon curd!
...we have to settle for apples this fall.
I'm looking forward to citrus this winter
Oh lemon honey can be addictive. N
I can't make too much of it. It's dangerous. I love lemon meringue pie but can't be bothered making it.
Lemon drizzle cake though, well I make that quite often in the winter.
Orange yoghurt cake, marmelade rock cakes. Darn, I could go on and on. Better not. It's too hot here for all that.
Must be years since I made lemon honey. I'm getting a craving now :)
Nothing life fres oranges to eat, they do not sell them like that here more is the pity but then they do not grow very well here in the UK
Hello,
We have similar stands here, they sell mostly fresh veggies. The fruits sounds yummy, it is a cute and colorful stand. Enjoy your day, have a happy new week!
My neighbour has a very prolific lemon tree. I never tried lemon curd until she made a batch. I make my own now.
one of my favorite fruits
Well stocked.
I was never in New Zealand for citrus time but in my annual 6 month stay my enduring memory is of avocados being available at many places just in the few kilometres between The Cottage and Napier.
Lemon curd, lemon meringue pie, lemon cookies. I love them all.
How lucky to have road side stands with this great produce. Great photo.
Nice looking stall - not many stalls that we have come across around here, just the market.
Wonderful! I love such fruit stands!
Happy WW :)
I so enjoy seeing little stands along the roadside! We stop and buy when we have some change.
It's great to see you at 'My Corner of the World this week! Thanks for linking up with us.
