An Oyster Farm in Whangaroa

This morning we drove out to Whangaroa and enjoyed another nice lunch with the other half's cousin at the Marlin Hotel. On the way out we stopped on the side of the road so I could take this photo of an oyster farm out in the harbour.

Do you like Oysters? I love them, in fact I'm a huge seafood fan I prefer them raw but the other half likes them battered and fried but to me that takes the natural ocean taste out of them.

I'm not a huge fan of oysters. I was just in Bariloche, Argentina and was at a restaurant where they gave a free appetiser of a dozen oysters on the half shell. I tried one but most went back uneaten.

That is another lovely harbour, isn't it. I used to prefer my oysters raw but find I now prefer them cooked.

Pretty scene! I love seafood but not a fan of oysters. I tried them once and that was that. :)

I have never seen an oyster farm before, that's pretty interesting. I only liked them smoked, I like crabs and clams.

I've never seen an oyster farm. That is very cool. I also love eating them, preferably raw. I don't eat raw oysters here in Oklahoma though since we are a thousand miles from the coast.

I enjoy shellfish but not oysters. Have tried them a couple of times but they're not for me.

I've never seen one of those either. Admittedly I dislike seafood.
