Rawene's Boatshed Cafe

Along the Esplanade in Rawene near the Ferry wharf is the Boatshed Cafe and apparently they make and sell very delicious food such as a Salmon Cream Cheese gourmet pizza. But they also sell arts, crafts and the best fish and chips in the Hokianga Harbour.

Us kiwis love our pizza and there are all sorts of weird and wonderful varieties here. My favourite one ever is from the Waipu Pizza Barn and it has avocado, shrimp and sour cream on it, another one is a Vegetarian pizza from Dominoes. What's your favourite pizza?

We have always called there for the delicious baked flounder. Unfortunately, on our last visit they told us that they no longer have a supplier. Not sure why as the fish and chip shop had some.

Wow! Great pizza varieties. I keep it simple with Hawaiian pizza.

What a variety of pizza. The mind boggles. I've tried to get mine to one with pineapple on it.....no way.
Oh for NZ fish n chips sitting at a picnic table by the sea - with gulls circling! Perfect

Love the look of the Boatshed Cafe Amy, I don't really have a favourite, I usually have a slice (or two) of whatever's going ☺
P.s. I had the camembert, Dijon mustard crepe, really good but next time it's definitely going to be a sweet crepe ✨

Who can pass up pizza? The place looks well taken care of.

That is quite the variety of pizza you have. My wife makes pizza every Friday, we been having it for years. We love jalapeños, broccoli, peppers and onions on it. Just ate the last pieces we had for lunch today. :)
