New Zealand has been dosed with some major rainfall this week, so far the Coromandel region has been flooded as has parts of Auckland and there's more to come this weekend.
Before it all started this is the photo I took first thing in the morning from our bedroom window looking out over the neighbour's roof and onto the street. I haven't edited this photo except to sharpen and add my copyright on it so the colours are all original.
Linking up with Skywatch Friday today :-)

Ah must have had some of ours then but you need to remember the saying, Red sky in the morning shepherds warning
Hello, we could use some of that rain here in Florida. There are some wildfires from being too dry. Love the pretty colorful sky! Enjoy your day and weekend ahead!
Ominous, but beautiful morning skies.
Beautiful morning sky. I hope you are not affected by the flooding. We are near some bad range fires here in this part of Florida.
A pretty view and beautiful sky. Stay dry!!
Pretty purples
That is a pretty shade of purple.
Divine sky shot with exquisite colors ~ thanks,
Wishing you a peaceful weekend ~ ^_^
The colors in the morning are just as lovely as the sunset! So pretty.
that's a view to wake up to. sorry about floods.
We have a similar saying in the United States "red sky in morning, sailors take warning". My neighborhood in the United States flooded in 2011; I will hope for the best for you. Those colors took my breath away. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
I wish that rainfall was newsworthy on the Isle of Lewis.
