Rowing in the low tide in Otumoetai
Despite it being very windy here this week the sun has been well needed, on the way home tonight I happened to spot these rowers going back and forth along the water near the bridge and motorway. Hello Amy,
Nice pictures!!
Great to see the people in action in that great canoe.
Many greetings,
Marco
Wow, that's quite a tidal shift! I imagine it would have been tricky venturing out in that 'muck'
seems a bit risky to row in the low tide :) They might get stuck in the mud.
agree, that's what I thought, they mustve been extremely keen :-)
yes, that's why I didn't go out there, I stayed on the shore, wonder how they got their boat out of the water?
I love tidelands, but agree I would definitely not want to be rowing just then. That mud might be quick sand!
