Photo taken at the top end of Mackey Street in town last Summer of a backpacker staring at her phone. We get alot of tourists here, backpacking seems to be a bit of a cheaper option when people stay in hostels.

Oh to be young and backpacking!
That's a classic street scene, perfectly capturing a moment of modern life even amidst a picturesque setting. It's interesting how, despite being in a new environment, many still find themselves drawn to their screens. Backpacking certainly offers a different kind of travel experience, and it's clear your town sees its share of adventurers.
I just shared a new post. You are invited to read. Thank you. Enjoy your weekend
She looks lost. We all know that stance, peering intently at the map! #WeekendReflection
I'm thinking about trading my suitcase for a backpack.
Nice street shot.
It’s always interesting to see how backpackers blend modern travel with timeless exploration
...DAWDLING is a word that I DON"T hear much anymore.
We stayed in a hostel once (Australia/Sydney). We shared the upper bunk-bed as the others all were very drunk. Ingo is 1,84m.... From then on we slept in the car. That was back in the day. Reckon this is not allowed anymore, at least not in/near cities. These days you gotta be "rich enough", sad...
Nice shot. It's been about 50 years ago since I went hitchhiking through Europe.
How did we ever survive travelling around without mobile phones?
What on earth did we (backpackers/tourists) do before mobile phones?? (I can hardly remember any more!)
I hope she found her way without too much trouble.
Looking for a Hostel on her phone?
Beautiful street candid capture.
