Last week we drove up to Murchison to visit our favourite op shop. We also had lunch at one of the nicest cafes we've been to. This was my brunch; eggs benedict and bacon with a mocha.
And last time we were there just over a year ago we tried to visit the Dust and Rust vintage store but it was closed back then.
This time it was open. Sadly everything in it was a bit overpriced for my liking - I did see an old metal washing/bath tub out the front I was interested in but I wasn't going to pay over $300 for it.
I loved everything inside though, so much to see but I'm quite picky with what I want to put in my house which was built in the 1930s and because I'm not made of money I didn't come out of there with anything.

Looks like a shop I would love to browse through.
Interesting store.
That brunch looks delicious 😋
I totally get not wanting to splurge at the vintage store.
Happy Monday, Amy!
The breakfast is a winner. The interior of the shop is something exclusive
My youngest daughter and her husband would love this shop but like you they like a bargain.
Very interesting store indeed but a bit to far to visit pity enough.
A pity it was all so pricey .
But you had your favourite eggs Benedict. You'll have to write a book about them around the country! I still haven't tried them but if they're ever on a menu I will order them. And let you know lol
Oh wow, I haven't been in a place like that in a long time. It's always so much fun to look around.
I'd have been fascinated at that old store!

...one person's trash is another's treasure.
$300 for an old wash tub! Think what I could sell my father's old farm tools for. :-)
Very eclectic.
