Red Elephant

I spotted this Elephant sculpture in Khyber Pass in Auckland City last year which was outside a Thai restaurant (my favourite food btw) but apparently since we were there last it has closed and a private buyer bought it to put in his garden.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday and Tom's Signs.

That's an impressive elephant. It would need a large garden.

Nice you at least got the pic to share! And have good restaurants hopefully left. Here they cook to "German gusto",which is booooring.

Too bad because it does give a certain touch to the street here.

What a striking sculpture! It’s a shame the Thai restaurant closed, but I hope the elephant brings joy in its new garden home. It’s always wonderful to see art like this in unexpected places. Thai food is such a treat too.

Kind of sorry to hear the public can't enjoy the red elephant any more. It looks like a wonderful sculpture!

I'd love to have that elephant in a garden

They must have a large garden to accommodate the elephant.
