Train

This has been the extent of our Spring skies mostly so far this month - constant gray. The whole country has had rain and thunderstorms forecasted this week except the West Coast.  I was driving to town last week and had to stop at the lights to let the Tranzalpine Train go through to drop passengers off at the station. - it always looks like a very popular ride that runs from Christchurch to Greymouth and back.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday and Tom's signs.

It does look more winter than spring there. I have seen many programmes on the TranzAlpine. It looks like a terrific trip. Great views, company and food!

The windows look strange? Do they have a special coating?
Wish you sunny days soon.

We had sunny skies now for the past two days. I love to travel on trains, they are so relaxing.

Being able to ride the TranzAlpine would be an experience. I've seen pictures of some of the scenery they pass through - stunning! :)

Our skies have been pretty much the same this week but last week fooled us into thinking spring proper had arrived! Temps in the high teens.

I'm sad that I never managed that ride.
